FARMINGTON — The town council earlier this month approved participating in a statewide program to offer financing to businesses looking to make clean energy enhancements.
The program, Connecticut Property Assessed Clean Energy or C-PACE, offers the opportunity for businesses and multi-family homes to pursue certain qualifying energy efficiencies and enhancements by offering long-term financing.
“Participation in the C-PACE program is one of several initiatives Farmington is undertaking to improve energy efficiency and support clean energy measures,” said Town Manager Kathy Eagen in a statement. “C-PACE will allow our businesses to reduce energy costs, upgrade their buildings and remain competitive.” Read more.
