Solano County businesses now have access to an innovative financing tool to reduce their energy and water use and improve their bottom line.
Solano County is among 14 California counties and 126 cities participating in the nation’s largest Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) program, an innovative financing tool to help commercial property owners reduce their buildings’ energy and water use.
“A commercial PACE program gives our local businesses an innovative option to pursue energy efficiency projects,” said Supervisor Linda Seifert, chair of the Solano County Board of Supervisors. “The County’s partnership with CaliforniaFIRST will allow local businesses to spend less on energy bills, put more money back into their businesses and add more jobs for Solano County residents.” Read full story.
