CT wins two national green awards
CEFIA won for its Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) program. The agency, also known as the Connecticut Green Bank, provides financing for commercial property owners to make efficient and renewable upgrades to their facilities at no upfront costs with the monthly energy savings exceeding the monthly finance payments. CEFIA leverages public funding to get private capital for the projects and has awarded $50 million to 60 projects.
